Community Events

Having spent most of my life in Yakima Valley, I have become an extremely community-driven individual. I never get bored of my work as I cover various events. One day, I could be covering a music festival, and the next, supporting a half marathon. Wine Country offers numerous opportunities for photography, and I get to witness new things and meet exceptional people at each community event. Read on, I've shared a few of my favorites.

Never Say Never Half Marathon

French Canyon Farms hosts the annual Never Say Never Half Marathon in Tieton, where a diverse flock of athletes of all backgrounds are seen completing the course with a smile. What's not to love about a picturesque background?

Yakima Valley Pippins

Roll Pipps! One of the greatest joys of summertime in Yakima is Pippins Baseball. An evening at The Orchard is the way to go! So, grab yourself a Big Pippin Single Hill brew and cheer from the stands.

TacoFest 2023

The CWHCC hosts TacoFest every year, a community event that celebrates Hispanic heritage during Cinco de Mayo weekend. People from the Yakima Valley and beyond come together to enjoy a variety of tasty tacos, live entertainment, traditional dances, and more.

Downtown Summer Nights

DSN in Yakima's historic district is the place to be every Thursday evening from June to August. Front Street becomes home to an array of great live music, exceptional street food, and local craft beer.
